What to do before you come.
As we draw towards the end of the season we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking great care of your equipment during the season. Now that we are reaching completion and the time to return items loaned out to you is approaching we ask that you follow the below guidelines:

Cleaning the equipment prior to turning it in.

Cloth items should be laundered.

  • Rib guard vests – The vests should be hand washed or on the Gentle cycle of a washing machine and air dried only.
  • White practice pants laundered – These should never be bleached. Stubborn grass and mud stains are best handled by soaking in a laundry soap and water mixture prior to be machine washed. Please air dry.
  • Black game pants – Stubborn grass and mud stains are best handled by soaking in a laundry soap and water mixture prior to be machine washed. Please air dry.
  • Girdle laundered – These should never be bleached. Stubborn grass and mud stains are best handled by soaking in a laundry soap and water mixture prior to be machine washed. Please air dry.
  • Knee, thigh, hip and tail pads scrubbed – Please scrub the knee, thigh, hip pads with soap and water and allow to air dry. If the knee pads are stained please soak them in a laundry soap and water mixture prior to scrubbing.
  • Shoulder pads washed or at least wiped down. Remove any dust or dirt from the neck area. The shoulder pads can be washed with a laundry soap and water mixture. The padding should be scrubbed and allowed to air dry. If a washing of the shoulder pads cannot be done, please wipe them down with Lysol or other disinfectant product. Spray a mist over the padding and hard surfaces and allow to air dry.
  • Helmets at least wiped down. Please remove all decals from the helmet. Remove any dust or dirt from the points where the face mask and helmet meet. The outer shell should be washed with a soap and water mixture only. Please do not use any scrubbing soap or cleanser. Use of these products can void the warranty and the helmet cannot be used for play. Any helmets found to be damaged will be billed at a rate of $180.00 The inner helmet and padding should be wiped down with a soap and water mixture and allowed to air dry.

Please remember that these items were loaned out to you and were to be maintained throughout the season. Any equipment that is not returned or returned damaged or unusable will be charged at the attached rates. Please help us keep our volunteer man-hours down as well as our equipment replacement costs by returning all loaned items in a clean and usable condition.

Thanks and we hope to see you at Registration in January!

End of Season News PDF Print E-mail

The 2009 Warriors Football Season is almost complete.  We liked to thank all our families who have made this year a successful one.  We still have many things happening as the season comes to an end.

Play-offs

Four of our Football squads have qualified for play-offs.  They are Junior Pee Wee White, Pee Wee, Junior Midget, and All American.  Dates and Times will be available after October 26th.

We will be hosting play-off games on November 1st and November 8th.  In order to make this successful, we will need a many volunteers.  If you can help at all on either day, contact Teno Geritano or John Bloemke.  This is also your family's last time to fulfill the mandatory concession/spiritwear requirement.
